Established in 2004 as a Sino-German joint venture, Luoyang BECOT Scientific Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “BECOT” or “we”) is a national high-tech enterprise dedicated to scientific and technological innovation in the field of friction drive system safety. After 20 years of exploration and development, BECOT has grown into a corporate group whose products cover the upstream and downstream of the product chain of friction drive systems such as wire ropes, friction liners and lubricating greases, and whose market occupies the fields of mining, metallurgy, petroleum, ports, cableways, etc.
In cooperation with several Russian and German companies, University of Stuttgart (Germany) and AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland), we have undertaken a series of research projects on high-performance friction liners, industrial lubricants, structural selection of special wire ropes, non-destructive testing technology for large-diameter wire ropes, technology for predicting the remaining life of wire ropes, etc. With the approval of the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province, we have set up the “Henan International Science and Technology Cooperation Base” and “Henan Friction Drive System Engineering Technology Research Center”.
